Questions clinics ask

Short answers about how the walk-in queue works. Anything else, book a demo and ask us directly.

What is a walk-in queue for clinics?

A queue that lives on your patients’ phones instead of a logbook or a row of chairs. A patient scans your QR, gets a number, sees how many are ahead and gets an alert when they are next. Your front desk sees everyone on one screen.

How do patients join the queue?

They scan the QR at your door or counter, or tap the link on your Facebook page, type their name and mobile number, and choose why they are visiting. Walk-ins who prefer the desk are added by your staff in a few seconds.

Do patients need to download an app?

No. The queue opens in the phone’s browser. Patients can add it to their home screen with one tap if they want to, but nothing has to be installed.

What about patients without a smartphone?

The front desk adds them to the same line and their number shows on the waiting-room screen, exactly like everyone else.

Do I need to buy a kiosk or a ticket printer?

No. The Clinico runs on the phone, computer or tablet your clinic already has. If you want a waiting-room display, any TV with a browser works.

What happens if our internet goes down?

The front-desk board keeps showing the last queue it loaded and reconnects by itself when the connection returns. Changes made during the outage wait until you are back online.

How much does it cost?

Pricing is being finalised with our first clinics. Book a demo and we will tell you the monthly price for your clinic before you decide anything.

How long does it take to set up?

Most clinics are ready in a morning: add your doctors, print the QR poster, open the queue. We set it up with you during the demo call.

Can each doctor have their own line?

Yes. Patients can ask for a particular doctor or take the first one free. The board shows one card per doctor with who is in the room and who is next.

Is patient information safe?

Each clinic’s data is kept apart from every other clinic’s, every change is logged, and the clinic decides who on its staff sees what. Patients are asked for consent when they join. The full notice is on our privacy page.

Can patients book appointments too?

Yes, when you switch on the calendar. Patients then book only the times that are free, get reminders by text, and can confirm, cancel or check themselves in from the link.

How is The Clinico different from free queue apps?

The queue carries your clinic’s name, not an app’s, and shows no ads to your patients. You get a line per doctor, a warning when someone has waited too long, a waiting-room screen, and the option to add the calendar, records and billing later in the same place.
