Privacy notice

The Clinico is software that clinics use to run their queue, calendar, records and billing. This notice explains what is kept, who controls it, and your rights under the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act 10173).

Last updated 23 October 2026.

Who is responsible for your data

When you join a clinic’s queue, book a visit or are treated at a clinic, that clinic is the personal information controller of your record. The Clinico processes the data on the clinic’s behalf and under its instructions. Questions about your record go to the clinic first. The Clinico is the controller only for the data it collects on its own website, such as demo requests.

What is collected

Patients of a clinic: name, mobile number, the reason for the visit and the time you joined or booked. If the clinic uses records and billing, the details the clinic enters about your care and payments. If you turn on alerts, a notification address for your phone, tied to that one ticket.

Clinic staff: name, email, role, licence numbers the clinic enters, and a log of actions taken in the app.

Website visitors: what you type into the demo form, and basic visit counts with no personal identification.

Why

To run the queue and tell you when it is your turn; to send reminders you agreed to by text; to keep the clinic’s record of your care and payments; and to answer demo requests. Nothing is sold or used for advertising.

Who can see it

Only the staff of your own clinic, each according to the role the clinic gives them. Every clinic’s data is kept apart from every other clinic’s. The Clinico’s own team can reach data only to operate and support the service.

Where it is kept and for how long

Data is stored with a cloud database provider in its Singapore region, backed up daily, and sent over encrypted connections. A clinic keeps records for as long as the law and its own policy require. Queue tickets that are not linked to a patient record are cleared after a set period by the clinic. Phone notification addresses are removed when the ticket closes.

Your rights

You may ask the clinic what it holds about you, ask for corrections, object to messages, or ask for your record to be removed where the law allows. You may also complain to the National Privacy Commission. For demo requests sent to The Clinico, write to us and we will delete them.
